Intuitive and Joyful Ceramics

My approach to ceramics celebrates spontaneity and creativity, allowing each piece to develop naturally. I enjoy seeing where the clay takes me, starting with a lump of clay and finishing with a beautiful one-of-a-kind piece is an incredibly satisfying experience. Each piece gets carefully analyzed to decide what kind of personality it has and what story it wants to tell. Rarely do I go in with a plan, I find the unpredictable outcomes exciting!

In March 2025, at the 59th annual conference of the National Council on Education for the Ceramic Arts, I entered a raffle for a Skutt KMT 1022 kiln, AND WON! That win took off my ceramic career and gave me greater autonomy over my work. Having my own kiln has allowed me to scale up production and start doing wholesale production.

You can find my work in Grove Surf and Coffee, the Betty Shop, and Addicted to the Bean in St. Petersburg, FL. In Fort Myers I do monthly pop-ups at Urban Buzz at their University Village location. Check out my social media for restock and pop up dates!

I work out of a garage-turned-art studio in Fort Myers, Florida (with a wheel which I spray painted pink to better fit my personal aesthetic). I’m now offering small scale throwing lessons and am more than happy to get you started on your ceramic journey. I truly believe that clay has a magical ability to teach you things about yourself and the world.
